20+ Years
Of creating extraordinary East African journeys
Welcome to Viaje Guru Tours
More Than 20 Years of Creating Extraordinary East African Journeys
Travel deeper. Discover Africa through local eyes.
My name is Jason Mburu, Founder & Managing Director of Viaje Guru Tours, and for over two decades I have dedicated my career to showcasing the beauty, diversity, and magic of East Africa to travelers from around the world.
Tourism is not just a profession for me. It is a lifelong passion built on extensive knowledge of the region’s wildlife, flora and fauna, cultures, landscapes, and people. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of designing and curating thousands of memorable itineraries for travel agents, tour operators, families, honeymooners, photographers, adventure seekers, and wildlife enthusiasts from every corner of the globe.
Having worked closely with international travel partners for more than 20 years, I understand that every traveler is unique. Whether it is witnessing the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara, exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti, experiencing the rich cultures of East Africa, tracking mountain gorillas, relaxing on the pristine beaches of Zanzibar, or embarking on a tailor-made family adventure, every journey deserves careful planning and personal attention.
